JIS G3457--Arc welded carbon steel pipes.

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the arc welded carbon steel pipes (hereafter referred to as “pipes”) used for piping for steam, water, gas, air, etc. of comparatively low working pressure.

Notes a）In this case,either the actually measured value of circumfential length or outside diameter and the 

circumferential length or outside diameter obtained by conversion thereof shall be used.

The mutual conversion of the outside diametre and the circumferential length shall be made by the following 

equation.

Where，D:outside diameter（mm）l：circumferential length（mm）

       π：3.1416

           b）For the local parts such as repaired parts，the outside diameter tolerances in this table shall not apply.
